We had ‘the pod’, a 28’ narrowboat built by the Little Boat Company six years ago, as a floating art studio. The interior layout was completely bespoke because our requirements included large windows, lots of cupboards and a long work surface. Also, we had to include space for a kiln!

Reg was very patient, as we decided the final layout. He listened to our ideas and ensured he used the best materials for the job. We spent many an hour in his workshop in the shell of the boat with a tape measure ensuring we could fit everything in.

The pod was delivered on time and was exactly as we had hoped. Six years on; she has just been blacked for the second time and passed a new Boat Safety Certificate. Everything is great. We are still delighted we chose Reg to build ‘the pod’.
